Whitefish - The Ski Center of Montana  

Whitefish is a charming city in the state of Montana. It is home to the famous ski destination - Whitefish Mountain Resort - located on the Big Mountain. The resort is fast developing and increasing in popularity every season. It is one of the main vacation places in Montana because of its great location. Since Whitefish is situated in a valley, the rough weather of Montana is a lot milder here, which means the place is ideal for vacations throughout the whole year.

The preserve is often referred to as the “crown of the continent” because of its variety of species, divinely beautiful nature and of course, the glaciers. Even though there were once more than 150 glaciers in the area, today you can see no more than 25. The unique ecosystem of the place determined the existence of many rare species, including the one that gave the name to Whitefish.
