Because of the strong volcanic activity typical in the area, Teton Valley now has diverse flora and fauna. The valley is known for its incredible nature and wildlife.

For example, Teton Valley is the place where you can see black bears, wolverines, bald eagles, elks and even a grizzly bear. The Snake River offers some of the best spots for fishing for wild trout. In the winter Grand Targhee is a great place for skiing, while in the summer Grand Teton National Park is the ultimate spot for hiking or horseback riding. Other activities available in the area of Teton valley are whitewater rafting, swimming, biking, golfing and fly-fishing. In the winter, you can enjoy some snowboarding, snowmobiling, and ice skating or visiting some hot springs.

Undoubtedly, the main attraction near Teton Valley is Yellowstone National Park. It is the oldest park in the US and it will fascinate you with its numerous geysers, hot springs and canyons. The views will take your breath away. This is one of the best places to hike. Another place worth going is the Grand Teton National Park, located nearby. It has great opportunities for camping, birding, wildlife watching, biking and boating. Prepare yourself for some stunning natural sites.
