Many of the state parks that are found in the region are full of pristine designated camp sites. There are also many sites along the Snake River and in Givens Hot Springs too. You can find gentle waters in the region too, where you can just grab a tire tube and simply float slowly down as far as you like, great for those who love the out doors but just want to chill, while enjoying the sights. For those young and seasoned who enjoy a nice day spent on the greens or touring the wineries in search of your favorite flavor, you will not be disappointed. The region is home to over 20 grade A golf courses that are all set in ideal natural settings. While you are enjoying golfing on a mountain top green it is not uncommon to have to wait for a grazing deer to pass as you try to hit your mark. The courses range in size as well from 9 hole greens to PGA quality 18 hole courses and all day 27 hole layouts. Wine lovers will enjoy the numerous vineyards that have just started to pop up in the area, taking advantage of the fertile Idaho soil. The list of wineries has been growing recently as more and more producers are discovering the unique tastes the land produces. Wine tasting rooms are available at at least 15 of the producers in the Snake River area. If Fine dining is your thing you may want to stop in the downtown Boise area, where they have a wide selection of restaurants specializing in certain cuisines including ethnic, traditional Idaho meals and seafood dishes. The night life of Boise is lively as well and they have venues to suit just about anyone's preferences.
