Mount Snow - Where You'll Find Vermont's Smoothest Ride

Mount Snow is located in the Green Mountains in Vermont and is the closest mountain to most of the Northeast metropolitan areas. It is famous for co-hosting the first Extreme Games in 1995 and hosting the Winter X-Games in 2000 and 2001. The area was originally called Mount Pisgah, but was renamed Mount Snow and opened as a public place after it was purchased in 1954. Famous Olympian, Kelly Clark, who graduated from the Mount Snow Academy, was the first American to win a gold medal at the Salt Lake City Games in 2002.
