Lake Cushman is a manmade reservoir in Mason County in the state of Washington, on the north fork of the Skokomish River. The 10-mile-long lake is surrounded by the unparalleled alpine beauty of towering mountain peaks. The community situated on the shores of this pristine lake is an ideal place for relaxation and sports. At the beginning of the 20th century the lake was an almost inaccessible piece of heaven for fishers and hunters from all over the country. Currently, Lake Cushman is the most rapidly growing community in Mason County. Lake Cushman has a population of about 3,000 people.
