The Daytona 500 is one of the city's biggest events each year, attracting thousands of NASCAR fans from around the globe, and the roar of the supercharged motors can be heard for miles around. During spring, the area is swarming with people who have come to enjoy some of the wildest times of their lives for Spring Break. Daytona and Spring Break actually go hand-in-hand. This time of the year for the city is a time of music, partying and fun as festivals and block parties are on until the sun comes up, when new parties takes their place.      

Cocoa Beach a quintessential beach area on the Space Coast that can give you a bit of everything, from a quaint day out at the beach to a family-friendly excursion or a hardcore nightlife scene. Your options are unlimited, and it's the closest beach to Orlando, Florida, so the famous theme parks are within a short drive from your beachside resort or villa. The area is home to the giant Brevard Zoo as well, where exotic animals roam about in their man-made habitats and it seems they love to be caught in funny pictures.
