Two fresh markets, the Downtown Everett Market and Everett Farmers' Market showcase crafts and local production.
   
The number of the parks in Everett exceeds 40, spreading out to hundred acres with endless options for physical activities and recreation, such as fishing, swimming, golfing, skating, horseshoes, hockey, boat launches and many more. Jetty Island is a man-made one with vast sand beaches and pleasant waters, accessible by a free ferry. The Naval Station Everett is situated on Possession Sound,on the waterfront at the Snohomish River's mouth. In the summer, Waterfront Concert Series and Everett Farmer's Market take place at the marina.
   
Situated to south of Everett, the Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary is a wonderful option if you want to catch a closer glimpse of the wildlife typical of the region.
    
The Flying Heritage Collection offers a peek into the world of aircraft from World War II. It is remarkable how aviation developed through the years to reach the level of today. Fifteen of the most famous fighting planes and one of the richest collections of flyable vintage planes in the whole country are displayed there.
    
Summer Fly Days are tax-free spectacular entertainment when the mechanical birds from the war go into the open skies. The viewing area is restricted, and so are the available seats, but people are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. The exciting flights last for about an hour.
   
Being a wonderful family vacation spot, Everett has a lot to offer for the smallest vacationers. Imagine Children's Museum welcomes visitors of all ages, families, school groups and organizations. Educational tours are available for those seeking knowledge, and the rooftop of the museum provides both indoor and outdoor exhibits, neglecting of the whims of the weather. The area is also appropriate terrain for the conducting of special events, educational classes and even birthday parties.
   
Everett Events Center is a host to numerous first-class performances, some of which are on tour. Visit some of the natural wonders in the area, including Nishiyama Garden - a Japanese garden with gravel paths, stream and wooden gates, and Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens.
