Questions to Ask Before Booking a Villa Holiday to Europe

Europe is home to the world's most attractive holiday villas. Countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy and Cyprus boast a great selection of holiday villas near the coast where the weather is favorable for holidaymakers and tenants can engage into water activities with ease. If you are looking to book a villa holiday in Europe, the following are questions worth asking:
Are there electricity, water and gas in the holiday home?
This is an especially important question for holiday villas that have been vacated by the owner. Be sure to ask the estate agent if the lines were turned off by the owner before signing up for a villa holiday.
Are the sheets and towels provided?
Many holidaymakers overlook this part because they expect holiday villas to function as hotels. While most property management companies wouldn't mind providing towels or sheets for you, find out exactly what sort of amenities and services will be provided so you don't come expecting what isn't there.
Are there extra furniture and bedding available?
If you have specific needs such as a crib for the toddler or extra pillows for guests, make sure you inquire about these things.
What is the payment process?
Generally, owners and companies ask for deposits upfront then installment payments during the term of your stay. Others prefer full payment upon booking.
What time should I check-in and check-out?
Find out when the agreement requires you to check in or out to avoid conflicts. For instance, if the agreement expects you to arrive at 11am and you arrived about 2 hours late, maybe you can plea for a discount. Adversely, never overstay for your villa holiday to avoid charges.
