When one goes on vacation, either by himself / herself or with friends or family, the question of where to stay - the accommodations - are always a big issue. Naturally, the most common places that come to mind are things like a hotel or an in or similar types of accommodations, but many people neglect to notice alternative lodgings that can genuinely be much better than the usual.

Holiday villas are, for one, much more private than hotel rooms. There are no multiple guests around, and you do not have to worry about bothering or being bothered by the people in adjacent rooms. Many holiday villas are also cheaper than hotels since the management of the latter does not need to hire staff that work round the clock, unlike in hotels and inns.

Think of a holiday villa as a house, except that you're just renting it for a night or two. You can come and go as you please, and especially for larger groups of people, the setting is right for you to spend time together and bond together - conversely, in hotel rooms, bigger groups will need to be booked in separate rooms, and any fun you might have together in a single room can be a bother to other guests.
