How to Rent Out Your Holiday Home
Do you own a holiday home but hardly ever use it? If your answer is yes, then you might want to consider renting it out in order to make some income.
Here are some tips for renting out your holiday home:
 1. Do your research.  Before deciding on a rental price, do your homework. Look for similar properties in the area and see how much they are being rented out for. Try calling estate agents or browsing through real estate websites. You might have a hard time renting out your holiday home if your price is too high.
 2. Take good photographs.  Many people would rather look at photographs rather than read through a lot of text. Make sure that your holiday home is bright and inviting, then take good photographs of the different rooms.
3. Advertise.  Get the word out that your holiday home is for rent. If your budget is limited, then use word of mouth. Tell your relatives, friends and co-workers about your holiday home. Print out posters and place them in busy parts of the neighbourhood.
4. Go online.  Many people look for holiday accommodations by surfing online. Make your own website. Post photos and details on forums or on your social networking sites. Send out e-mail blasts to everyone you know. Never underestimate the power of the Internet.
