Beach Vacation Homes for Terrific Summer Holidays

Holiday homes are preferred by most families on holidays because they offer ample space for everybody. Aside from this, most holiday homes in the UK are also accessible to various tourist attractions, including the spectacular beaches of Dorset.
The beaches in Dorset are among the top beaches in the world. The beaches here form the UNESCO World Heritage Site, also known as The Jurassic Coast.  There are plenty of holiday homes dotted up and down this part of the Southern Coast, ideal as a base for your next family holiday. Here's my list of the best beaches in Dorset.
Weymouth Central Beach - Made up mostly of fine, white sand with some pebbles and shingles to the north, this lovely beach boasts a mile-long shoreline. It is also near the town center so you can easily shop and eat after a nice bath at beach.
Friar's Cliff Beach - This is popular among families because there are lifeguards that constantly patrol the shore during summer months. It is safe for swimming, bathing as well as sand castle building.
Durdle Door Beach - This beach is privately-owned but is open for public use. One of its distinctive features is its remarkable limestone arch that extends from land to sea.
When planning a family holiday in Dorset, keep in mind that pets are banned during peak summer months. While most holiday homes don't have restrictions to pets, beaches nowadays are becoming pet-free during the summer season.
