How to Find Inexpensive Holiday Accommodations
When travelers plan a holiday, they usually look for cheap accommodations. Here are some helpful tips on how to find inexpensive holiday accommodations in pretty much any destination of your choice:
1. Compare.  The best thing you can do to look for great rates on accommodations is to compare rates. Make a list of the possible places to stay in a certain area. Visit their websites and make some calls. Remember that the cheapest accommodations may not necessarily be the best one. A certain hotel might be slightly more expensive but may come with a buffet breakfast.
 2. Consider something other than hotels.  Hotels may not always be the best choice for travelers on a budget. Look into renting an apartment or staying at a bed and breakfast. If you are traveling in large groups, you may also want to consider renting a villa or holiday home.
3. Book early.  Once you've decided on where you want to stay, make reservations as soon as possible. You might be able to ask for a discount if you are booking a room in advance. The closer the date is, the harder it might be to even book a room, let alone get a discount.
