Boracay Island, Aklan in the Philippines is a premiere stretch of pristine beaches that has become a favourite spot for both local and international tourists. It is a mere 40-minute airplane ride from Manila with three local airlines providing transport to and from the island.

The island has two main beaches: White beach on the west side and Bulabog beach on the east. White beach is the main beach for tourism. It is here where world class resorts, hotels and restaurants are situated. Bulabog beach is reserved mostly for water sports like kite-surfing and windsurfing.

Rooms at a lodge near station 1(White House) is US$58 for a twin accommodation to US$133 for the whole ground floor. Superior rooms at Residencia Boracay cost US$54 per night while a room good for 6 costs US$150. Rates vary during low and high seasons.
